Their ensemble can perform in formats as small as 3 players, up to 16. They perform a wide range of music including classical, jazz, pops, movie themes, and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rose City Trombones has performed for audience of 20 in a private homes to 20,000 at the Moda Center. Their international travels included a China tour and the International Trombone Festival. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Music (Historical Musicology) and the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in Humanities at Princeton University. Under the guidance of Wendy Heller, Joyce is currently working on her dissertation, \u201cMusica Experientia\/Experimentum: Acoustics and Artisanal Knowledge in the Global Seventeenth Century,\u201d which explores the intersection between science, music, and aesthetics involving instrument-making, sensory experience, and the development of acoustical theory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a solo harpsichordist, Joyce has performed throughout the United States, France, Belgium, and Taiwan.
