May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n

All Classical Portland’s diverse playlist includes music by Asian\/Pacific American composers and musicians all year round. During the month of May, we are recognizing Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by celebrating some of the most extraordinary contributions to classical music by Asian\/Pacific American composers.<\/p>\n

Guest<\/span> Host Ed Goldberg will celebrate Sunday Brunch<\/em> on May 2nd<\/span> with the traditional Chinese song \u201cSpring Flowers in the Moonlit Night on the River\u201d played by Lang Lang and Fan Wei as well as favorites by Nkeiru Okoye and Sicong Ma.<\/p>\n

Throughout the afternoon and into the evening, hosts Christa Wessel and Andrea Murray highlight Portland pianist Susan Chan, guitarist Xuefei Yang, and the traditional Korean song, “Arirang”.<\/p>\n
